Any friend group that isn't able to have that basic level of respect is a group you should be wary of.

Any group that tries to make you feel bad for asking is probably trying to control you.

If anyone says they're "Too tired to get into it" probably doesn't have a full/fair story to give. Everything should be justifiable. There should be a real reason with the parties involved given a chance to speak their side and be heard by neutral parties.

- Ask Questions about it
- Ask the person who is gone what happened.
-Always get both sides of the story.

You should never feel like someone in power is trying to conceal or silence you for how you feel.

These are social engineering tactics that people deploy in their friend groups to hold power over others
