Ironically, this chapter is probably the most uninteresting to me in terms of story - its just an intermission chapter if anything. just setting things up for whats to come. idk why I spent so much time on it hahaha

This chapter took forever to draw, mostly bc of my day job sapping all the energy out of me, but also bc I decided to draw really tightly and clean this chapter lol. I like the way it looks but I think I wasted wayy too much time on the drawings. I'll try to draw looser next time (lies)

if you want to understand tailoring, you only need to watch mid-century movies, when actors were dressed by tailors, not brands. in the 1944 film cover girl, gene kelly's suit drapes beautifully, moving with him, not against him. collar stays on his neck, even as he dances.
