When writing mysteries or uncertainties in stories, I find the thing that I fixate on most is not patronizing the reader.
Most readers are quite intelligent and genre savvy and will easily apprehend your intent, so accounting for that in a way that feels satisfying in the end is crucial.

The problem is that tech billionaires are out of touch enough to believe Science Fiction level AI can be achieved in the next decade when it's more likely to take a century or two. Boards are demanding the impossible while developers are pushing an ecologically unsustainable ceiling of performance.

AI is a multi-level marketing scheme propped up by corporations inebriated on a sense of sunk-cost and a desperate desire to replace human workers with ones they can exploit endlessly for less or no cost.
Calling it AI is effectively piggybacking off of a Science Fiction concept to cultivate image.

It's always been really silly to me when people try to make believe that "AI" (which I resent calling it by the way, they're just LLMs, which are not intelligent) are on the level of the printing press or the internet.

Writing combat scenes is such a different mentality from anything else
Like most scenes I can just kinda zone in and out and have snacks in the middle but combat? No you either lock in for an hour or write nothing at all
