I still have to pick up my copy of #PokemonLegendsZA today, my biggest "review" of it has been the absolute excitement & happiness my daughter has had since she got it yesterday. She's happy to play, excited for what she can do, loves how it looks, etc. That's honestly the biggest plus for me. :)

I do love playing on my Steam Deck...but even THAT can't play a number of Steam games...yet that gets a pass? Who honestly expected a PC handheld to play anything other than PC games? And while the ROG Ally X can't play console games, it can play a LOT more than a Steam Deck natively with Windows.

People losing it in reviews because the "Xbox ROG Ally X" can't play Xbox console games...while knowing this is a portable PC (which a PC ALSO can't just play console titles)...but they were cool with the PS Portal which can't even play things natively...yet tried to call it the new "PSP"? REALLY?

I shall check that out (brought my Steam Deck with me to work today conveniently). Another game with the "RE1" art style that I have ordered & waiting to play is "Crow Country". Though House of Necrosis REALLY pushed that RE feel it seems lol.

Thanks man. I'm worried about how her kids are going to have to deal with this. Her oldest had graduated high school a few years back but her youngest was just starting 9th grade. I know they are having an exceptionally hard time right now.

This short #Nintendo dropped feels like a #Pikmin preview short (not the first Pikmin animated short treatment as we should remember) but it's like the Pikmin is removed like people can't "see" them or they will drop this again with the characters showing up later? www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsuf...

I have to say while the Steam Deck is weaker than others & is way more limited in what games it can play...if you already have a good Steam library it is a FANTASTIC option for many titles & it is the closest to a "console" feel other than a Switch or Switch 2 themselves. Valve did great there.

I have loved my Steam Deck but I get your concern on if you will use it as much given Switch 2 & other things. I have a Legion Go as well & I am hoping that with the upcoming Xbox Windows update it will become nicer to use while still giving access to WAY more PC stores, games, emulators, etc.

Microsoft's push to stop physically releasing their games while trying to get everyone used to GamePass was all a planned push for increasing the price after they have decimated the physical market for their players. They feel they can do it because players don't have a choice...hope they learn now!
