Played No Rest for the Wicked again as the coop update is kinda out, not played it since EA launch, man I forgot just how good this game is. This will 100% be my GOTY for whatever year 1.0 releases.

I absolutely hate the current trend of "oh no this has 20 ingredients in it it must be bad for you". Education has fucking failed us.

I caught wind of people apparently being upset about the Expedition 33 sweep and like, this might be the first time in Game Awards history that a game that actually deserved it sweeped the show.

The problem with Ashes of Creation is that the kickstarter got funded over 9 years ago. If what released on Steam was a result of 3 years of development I'd honestly have no issue with it, but it's been 9. That's an insane amount of time for how little there's actually here.

honestly this might have been the best game awards has ever been, but they really just need to drop the pretense of being an award show because it really fucking isn't one.

my biggest pet peeve with Steam reviews is when someone buys a game and complains because it's not the genre they want it to be. Like why would you buy a story driven adventure game and leave a negative review because the gameplay is primarily walking and reading dialogue?

I am absolutely loving Unbeatable so far but this game has some insane technical issues.

UI might be the thing video games most consistently get wrong. It is actually so rare to have a game with good UI.

I almost feel like Planet Coaster 2 is worse to play than the first one cos in the first one the tools were limited in ways that were annoying but clear. Whereas in PC2 the tools feel like they should make everything easier but they are beholden to the same limitations.

I did something to break my Linux install and now I have to download an update over USB because I do not have an ethernet cable at this house orz. Moving was a huge mistake.
