Have just listened to The Wedding Present's Maxi EP. Now in their 40th year and 30 years after Mini they continue to push all my buttons. Latest lineup on the current tour is the best I've seen them. Maxi is the first recorded output from that iteration. It's fucking great. The boy Gedge, etc.

My entire political outlook now is the Conservatives have fucked it, Labour have fucked it so why not give someone else the opportunity to fuck it. Not them obviously.

I can’t stand cricket. Don’t see the point. But the people who do like cricket only ever seem to be disappointed by cricket.
