Farmers grow a variety of crops based on market demand, their own expertise, land suitability, and risk management strategies, but subsidies for a few major commodities like corn and soybeans can significantly shape their decisions.

I knew some farmers and they grew what made money. Potatoes.

Members of Congress are in a special group. They get to give themselves raises. They get paid regardless of what they do. The don't have to show up for work, create bills, or vote. They spend as much time as possible raising campaign funds for the next election. Check 2 see what yours is doing.

People in states like Wyoming are over represented. Let's say that 1M citizens are in Wyoming. Shouldn't that be the minimum for all House members? Why are voters in Texas worth less than those in Wyoming?

My folks didn't smack us, but even in the early to mid 70s we wouldn't get away with calling a woman "dearie," or something like that. We didn't grow up disrespecting adults regardless of their gender or race. Mom was known for being outspoken in the church so we didn't get away slurs.

Actually I think that DC should become part of Maryland and not a state, but I would welcome PR and the rest of our territories as full citizens with voting rights and representation.

Carolina and Dakota would be newly merged states.

Also, the Wyoming rule enacted.

For faux, radical is anything to the left of fascism. When I was about 25 a kid called me a communist. I thanked him. People asked, why. For him a communist is as far away from him as possible. I was thrilled that he thought I was a long way from his fascism.
