wip wednesday from a bit of my #TheCrow AU. more sweet jilix.
only a couple more weeks before it's out!

"You're leaving," Felix whispers, "for good this time."

"I… Yes. I have to. Minho is waiting for me."

Felix nods, tears in his eyes. "You were supposed to come say goodbye first."

"Forgive me." Jisung undoes the clasp from the back of his neck. "Here," he says, wrapping the necklace with the ring hanging from it around the other man's neck, "Minho would be mad at me if I didn't give this to you, I know it."

"I'm going to miss you so much," Felix cries, throwing his arms around the man's neck.

"I know, Lix. I wish we were here—I wish I could stay. I love you, though. You know that, right?" His voice breaks and his arms wrap tightly around the other.

"I know, I do. I love you so much. Thank you for being there for me."

"I'll always be there for you. I'll make sure of it."

"My own freaky guardian ghost," Felix laughs.

Jisung leans back with a smile, tears on his cheeks, and takes Felix's face between his hands. "Promise me Lee Yongbok Felix that you will take care of my best friend and make sure he has the best life ever."
