Note that a hyphen is not used to join the figures and the word million or billion, even in this type of phrase: The president submitted a $300 billion budget.
In headlines, abbreviate only millions, billions: $5M lawsuit, $1.6B prize.

Do not go beyond two decimal places. 7.51 million people, $256 billion, 7,542,500 people, $2,565,750,000. Decimals are preferred where practical: 1.5 million. Not: 1 1/2 million.

Use figures with million, billion or trillion in all except casual uses, such as I'd like to win a billion dollars. But: The nation has 1 million citizens. I need $7 billion. The government ran a deficit of more than $1 trillion.

Yule and Yuletide are Old English names for the Christmas season.
AP style uppercases them, which is an exception to Merriam-Webster's guidance.

AP style hyphenates year-end as a noun, such as referring to the fiscal year-end, and as an adjective, as in a year-end financial analysis.

FIFA is acceptable on first reference for Federation Internationale de Football Association. Refer to it as the international soccer governing body rather than spelling out the French acronym.

43-Year-Old Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire Loses Controversial Decision In World Title Fight
Nonito Donaire once again like Manny Pacquiao did earlier this year, later in his career, and made the impossible possible again. Showing at 43 he is still more than world championship caliber in the toughest sport there is -- professional boxing. Although he didn't win the fight today, most people thought he did. Just like Pacquiao against Barrios earlier in the year when that fight ended in a draw with most thinking Pacquiao deserved to get the nod.
