Has someone punched him? Looks like he’s got a shiner.
I ignored mine and left. I was so done with being treated as a tiny dispensable cog in a huge dysfunctional machine. I never felt safe working for the NHS.
The permit was chargeable, not free, and it wasn’t cheap. Getting to work for 6.45am and leaving at 7.30pm (if we were lucky) pretty much ruled out public transport when all you have time to do is get home, eat, collapse into bed and get up again at 5.30 for your next 12.5 hour shift.
I worked in a hospital that has insufficient staff parking so I was on the waiting list for a permit. The nearby streets had restricted parking so I parked further away and walked in but a bloke threatened me for parking there. I got a ticket for parking in the overflow patient car park. I left.

Some are querying whether Andrew can renounce a dukedom without an Act of Parliament.

But you can parse a duchy and he’s left outside.

Good night.
I’m with the largest percentage who look at that list and see nobody I’d want to vote for. What an uninspiring bunch.
Also it’s a fundraiser for Palestine
Yup. That twat doesn’t speak for me.
Keir Starmer says the UK stands with Israel.

I am a UK citizen, and I do not stand with Isreal, or anyone who arms it, funds it, or enables it.
There’s a list. I’d like to see them all investigated and criminal charges where they supplied junk. Manslaughter charges where their failings led to or contributed towards deaths.
This is affecting the result so worth a vote
The express poll asking whether reforms migrangt visa plan is racist is about 91% "no" so it REALLY needs your help - this is a direct link to poll

POLL: Is Reform's migrant visa plan racist?

Yes I’d like to see her thrown out and stripped of honours. I’d like to see criminal proceedings against her and ALL the rest of the profiteers from the “VIP” scheme. Then I’d REALLY like to see Johnson’s government members facing charges for setting up such a clearly fraudulent scheme. That’ll do.
I’m unable to walk far or drive at the mo so I’m watching more tv than usual. A British radio presenter and musician is giving evidence in the trial of a man who has been stalking her. His defence asked her if this is just publicity for her, like being stalked is somehow beneficial. WTAF?? Idiot man
It is NOT the fault of individual members of staff or staff groups. I have huge respect for those swimming in that murky water without drowning.

Sorry for the essay.
was spent on medical negligence cases. The whole thing is a mess.”

This is why I work independently. It is next to impossible to provide great care within the NHS at the moment. (6)
…removing the combative approach to “fault” where staff working in a dysfunctional system are hung out to dry to protect the institution. The money saved in legal fees would fund the service properly. The last time I looked about one fifth of the total maternity budget was spent (6)
…and actually listening to them when they say they are both fine or when they say something is wrong, reinstating a Midwifery regulator rather than the NMC, and crucially introducing a system of no-fault compensation for adverse outcomes to save the huge costs paid in legal fees by the NHS, (5)
…caseloading with the same midwives seeing pregnant women and birthing people throughout their pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period under a continuity of care model, a return to treating the pregnant person as the best source of information about their own and their baby’s well-being (4)
I just commented this. I imagine they’ll block me.

“The answers to the maternity crisis are well documented and evidence based: a return to smaller units rather than mass maternity units, birth centres for uncomplicated pregnancies and births, proper support for homebirth for those who want it, (3)
We’ve implemented nothing from previous investigations other than to hammer midwives harder.

My timeline is currently full of adverts for medical negligence firms looking for business. I get it. But I also see that they’re a huge part of the problem. (2)
Several local (Yorkshire, UK) maternity units are being investigated at the moment. To be honest, turn the lens on pretty much any maternity unit in the country at the moment and it will look the same as those under investigation now. (1)
