@devoncoffee.bsky.social has piqued my interest in this subject. I worked in and on electrical power generation for 15yrs. Long enough to realize that upscaling generation this fast isn't even remotely possible.

I was asked if there were anywhere other than SE Maine that I'd like to go on vacation... Truth be told, I've been a bunch of places but I've only gone on vacation in the last 5yrs. I don't really have a good answer.

I'm not sure which part of me is more filled with white hot anger. There was unspoken bond between sailors on opposite sides of the Cold war. I would buy any Russian sailor a drink even today. We damn sure would have fished them out of the water. 1/2
