You're right—institutions often hide people society doesn’t want to see. That’s not care, it’s avoidance. Real compassion means support, inclusion, and dignity in the community—not disappearing those with disabilities or mental illness to make others more comfortable.

Try harder is one thing I do everyday. Ppl without disabilities will never know til it happens to them or someone they love dearly. I tried so hard every day it gave me a stroke and I was gaslight daily at my job til I left. It's exhausting defending daily.
