Redbull Rampage week continues in Virgin, Utah. They get a ride to the top while to us it’s #earnyourTurnsday.

We always allow one luxury item on our treks. This time we brought some whiskey and enjoyed it at Rae Lake.
Kayaks are a bit bulky to travel with. So usually paddle only in the ocean in our coastal home town. But if rentals/loaners are available, like a month ago, then yes.
I can’t say paddle boarding is necessarily our favorite yet but it is the newest way for us.
It’s not uncommon to air down tires after long climbs too.

Color like this is of course in Moab.

Getting the feet wet.
This is still type 1 fun.

Castleton Tower, Utah
That is certainly on the higher side, especially for steeps. I do 18/20.
Barns used to be red because farmers made their own paint from iron oxide. Now we’re so used to it that I guess any other color would look out of place.
What tire pressure do you use?
Something wrong with the BlueSky video player again. Click the full screen button (if you are lucky to have one). Or, even better, click the youtube link for full resolution.

Over 99% of my pictures are with the phone. But how do you get the 3 lbm full frame DSLR through the slot for the 1%?

The #glow of the last blacksmith in #SanFrancisco. Tiny building sandwiched between the skyscrapers just two blocks from the Salesforce Tower.
I'm sure the bypass is still unsanctioned but at least it is on public land. The land owner was nice enough to have separate bike and hike trails. Sad if the ungrateful bikers lost their trail completely because they couldn't stay away from the hiking trail.
Many have been poaching Potrero that may have been even aggravating the situation there. The bypass is just before the Potrero fork.
And there is a bypass for the small closed section so still completely doable.
It is still closed. The picture is from Thanksgiving 2022.
