LXC sat on the pavement in disbelief. He was shocked at the other man's reaction. He had only wanted to clarify that he had wanted the man's number to get some tips on how to take care of animals.

When JC heard that he immediately tensed. Men that don't take a no for an answer are the worst.

When he felt the other man's hand on his shoulder his reflexes kicked in. He swung, connecting with the man's left cheek. The other man fell on his ass. JC didn't bother to look back.

They didn't hear the rest as both men stepped outside.

JC put his hands in his pockets and sighed. The other man shifted nervously waiting for a reply.

"Look, I'm not interested in being in a relationship right now," he gives a small nod "goodbye" turning to walk away.

it yawned as it snuggled to sleep. The other man barely touched the cat's fur afraid it would run away.

The cat stayed until closing. The two men had sat in comfortable silence as the animals surrounded them in a calming peace.

"I don't own the place, go ahead." JC replied. Usually, he would get up and find another place to sit but he didn't feel bothered by the man's presence.

JC still hadn't received a response, so he visited the animal cafe earlier in the evening. He was surprised to run into the same man from yesterday.

He thought about ignoring the man but felt like that would be too rude, so he nodded a hello when they met each

It was late and JC was one of the three customers in the café.

Although thinking about it it was the other people that needed to stop doing things that made JC punch them in the face.

After setting his plan in motion he decided to finally leave his apartment to de-stress. He wasn't going to the bar or club to drink like WY liked to or bake and cook like his sister did. No, it was 9 pm on a Sunday. He was headed to the animal café to pet puppies.

After narrowing down the list of people he found him.

LXC. His company was one of the top 5 in the entertainment industry. He was perfect. The only problem was getting hired.
