It may be the 'moral' thing to do avoid the evil by choosing the right platform but how long that platform will stay good and free before it gets corrupt by a capitalistic greed. I just wanna place where I can destress as much as I can without having to worry whether if I missed anything or not

I still do it in a sense, checking telegram, here and Twitter every now and then. But how will it be when the fandom splits into not three but four or even who the fuck knows, five platform.

That's also a big problem that needs a solution because many of that portion will just choose wherever the majority will stand, despite however toxic or limiting the space is.

I personally don't want to check several platforms just to catch up with friends, artist I follow.

Not to mention that all of these are just in the view of content sharing and community growth. Huge portion of the fandom, to popular belief, are not artists that try to grow their following.

A big majority is just here to enjoy the stuff being shared and just have a good time.

Idk anything about Mastodon to be fair. It might be a good place but considering how difficult it was to even convince some of the fandom to move here, I really don't see that happening even in the slightest similarity in terms of number of people moving.

FA is pretty decent place to share any form of art but, at least in my experience, not a great please to engage with your community.

As solid as that advice sounds it ahs several disadvantages.

Telegram is already an Pro-AI company, like all of their stuff is AI as most of you must have notice, but also, which company fucking isn't at this point.

But it still bothers to be forced between a platform owned by a fascist narcissistic loser and a possible censorship applied on the new place we just settled down.

Common advice is to spread your content every possible platform as much as you can and even to build your own website. 2/10

I'm slowly losing hope on having a solid platform to stay on. Follower count or growing my account isn't even in my priorities anymore. After all, I don't even make content like I used to anymore.
