I say this knowing asking them to pay back isn’t an option, but I’d do everything in my power to hint that things are costly. Leave out receipts. Find screenshots of the most expensive resell of your shit lol, complain about having to rebuy essentials outloud.

They’re entitled to your things, be entitled to theirs. Even if it’s yours, if they grab something out of the fridge and set it down for a second, casually eat it. And if they complain, remind them they don’t have problems taking your stuff

I’m unfortunately big food enjoyer kind of neurodivergent so I don’t know what would be a good rec
but if your Costco has anything like big packs or jars of bouillon (chicken flavor especially), it becomes easy soup and sauce base at hand; just dissolve in hot water
