BREAKING: A federal judge found ICE violated a consent decree prohibiting ICE from arresting people without warrants or probable cause in Illinois and five other states. The court extended the decree until February 2, 2026, giving a tool to fight against ICE’s abuses of warrantless arrests.

The fight is over DACA recipients, refugees & temporary protected status holders. GOP bill blocks them; Dem bill restores access + Medicaid funding.

GOP misleads with claim that Democrats shut down to give health care to 'illegal immigrants'

U.S. law prohibits federal health care benefits for undocumented immigrants. Democrats want to return benefits for those with lawful presence, like DACA recipients and asylum-seekers.
