I have had the misfortune of hearing dozens of stories from people with lyme at this point. I've first hand seen people lose dogs to lyme that were on flea and tick and vaccinated.

Removing the tick ASAP is the best prevention. Ticks have to be latched for AT LEAST 36 hours. You have time!! Check!!
