Together they set up the Strike School, which is there to this day as a museum to the strike and as a centrepiece of the history of the small Norfolk village. It is a must-do event for any communist who is able.

Comrade from the YCL have also been to the recent Disabled People Against the Cuts (DPAC) protests in Norwich. We stand in full solidarity with those affected by this treacherous Labour government and Kier Starmer’s seeming desire to destroy as many lives as possible, in Britain and in Gaza.

But our capitalist system funnels wealth to the top and ignores many parts of this country, leaving them to rot.
Where the state fails, the Communist youth step in to help cultivate a healthy community, and to highlight the neglect that capitalism promotes.

Consistent underfunding of local authorities to deal with issues of litter harms not just the environment but the social fabric of a community. Volunteering and charity should not have to exist in a society that does not neglect its streets.

Come along to the London Recruits film. A film about progressive YCL and other activists who on the request of the African National Congress took part in clandestine activity. These people were dedicated to peace and anti-racism and they knew actions speak louder than words.
