Given how light the ruling of this game is, I kinda didn’t expect it to be TOO well-rounded balancing wise either way—probably one of those more casual titles like Monopoly Deal or something.

I’ve read the rules and some reviews before buying this…by the looks of it the game does come off a bit solo-ish at base since there ain’t a lot of player interactions in the base game. From what I’ve heard the expansion filled the gap in that regards.

Nameplate, bidding board and the tactic cards from the expansion. Given the ruling that I’ve read I kinda wonder how much impact would the “bidding on turn order” thing have effect on the gameplay…

In-game cards too, a lot of flavor texts, but given this is one of those “traditional Chinese cultural game” it’s definitely given.

This is the first truly “Chinese” board game that I have on my shelf…this might be on my to-do list another day until the devs themselves decided to make an English version of it, I suppose.
