I won't post here anymore, I'm not happy about it.

I truly wanted to believe in this open platform, but I have to face reality:
my goal is to build an open-source devtool startup, I need to be where it's happening.
This is why I will focus my efforts on twitter for now, hope you understand

I'm mind blown

Claude just decoded my jwt token without any tool, it was base64. When I asked how, he denied at first but apparently Claude is fluent in various encodings

If you could add a secret system prompt to every LLM without users knowing, what would it be?

Just shipped to your browser:

Better terminals

Did you know?
If you go to pad.ws and open htop in a new terminal

You can see the server getting wrecked in real time

(what's 300 ubuntu containers anyway?)

dear early adopters (the real MVPs)

Every "submit feedback" form you fill matters so much to builders like me, please continue

(and I love crafting those personalised answers)

Pad.ws Beta is now open to everyone! 🚀

It's a dev environment in your browser that works like a note-taking app.

An infinite canvas running Ubuntu where you can code, sketch ideas, and launch terminals or VS Code.

Try it, break it, tell us what you think

I have no idea why there's so many pip installs recently, anyone have a clue?
March 20, 2025 at 6:27 AM
A friend told me I should share my dev environment

So here is a little demo of how I leverage an infinite canvas to keep track of my dev stuff:

- Devcontainers
- Architecture diagram
- Plans and Ideas...

I'm planning to release it open-source, check out pad.ws

Are iframes cool already or should we make them cool?

I'm curious when people will realize that we've already transitioned to "code is law"

Context > Agents

I believe that in 2025, trying to improve the context for LLMs brings more value than trying to find the perfect autonomous agent for your task

The models are doing the heavy lifting anyway, and providing relevant context makes them 10 times more efficient

Keep it simple

I'm beginning to realize that Chrome Bookmarks might be the only productivity tool I really need.

While I used to be a big fan of Notion, I now find it slow and impractical.
I don't think Notion's quality has decreased, but AI tools have drastically raised our UX expectations

It's so exciting to see people use gitingest in such smart ways

What a great usecase @johnlindquist.com!

Tired of replacing "hub" with "ingest" in Github URLs manually?

Me too!

Well it's over now, @lcandy.bsky.social made a neat browser extension for gitingest! Thank you so much
