This #ShitIndex is profoundly stupid.
Google Scholar has introduced a 'Sh-index' metric that scores papers higher if you are first or last author. Apart from the fact metrics are generally bad, this one explicitly punishes PIs who often collaborate, publishing with 2 or 3 equal PIs at the end of the list.

South Carolina schools recently sent home unvaccinated kids to stem a growing measles outbreak. It turned out 5 of them were infected and, if they'd been at school, could've unwittingly spread it to their classmates for days.

This is the guy who lied on the stand at a trial in LA, telling the jury he witnessed the defendant assault the ICE officer, when the video showed the ICE officer assault the defendant. The jury took an hour to acquit. He's referred to immigrants as "filth, trash, and scum."
