We'd like to round out our XLIBRE ON ARCH LINUX WEEK with a few user-contributed #LiberatedScreens. Thank you for your interest and feedback. We've taken on a few small tasks and will keep the third-party #XLibre packages for #ArchLinux up to date.

#XLibre runs on #SteamOS btw. You can use a third-party shell script to install XLibre on a Steam Deck provided at github.com/HaplessIdiot.... The script enables XLibre for displaying SDR content and native Gamescope Wayland/XWayland for HDR content. #ArchLinux #XLibreArchWeek

#XLibre runs on #ArchLinux btw. Some of you guessed it; others have known for a while. We've created third-party PKGBUILDs, teamed up with another AUR maintainer, and now provide x86_64 binaries. We never talked about it; now we will.

You can use the Arch User Repository (AUR) to install #XLibre on #ArchLinux as well. vitaliikuzhdin created PKGBUILDs at the end of June and co-maintains them with artist4xlibre. Please see the pinned comment aur.archlinux.org/packages/xli... . A big thank you both! #XLibreArchWeek

In #Ubuntu 25.10 Questing Quokka, support for #GNOME on #Xorg was dropped. If you like to stay with an #X11 desktop, you may, e.g., have a look at the choices at github.com/X11Libre/xse... , stick to 24.04 LTS or switch to a non-GNOME flavor ubuntu.com/desktop/flav... . #XLibre

On Monday, the Vendefoul Wolf Linux maintainers released a new ISO with the #JWM graphical environment and #XLibre by default. Additionally, there will be a #TDE version soon. You can read more about this #Devuan based distribution at vendefoul-wolf-linux.sourceforge.io. #VendefoulWolf

Thank you for your interest in #XLibre and #i3! We contacted the @artixlinux.org maintainers and the i3 testing "XLibre flavors carry v25.0.0.11" ISO is indeed from 2020 and comes with Xorg Server instead of XLibre. The Artix maintainers are going to look into it.
