He sways his hand with a frowning face.

“Shoo shoo.” After that he nods his head and goes to check in for the night in his bedroom across the other’s.

Morning rolled around and ren knocked on Xi Bo’s door.

“Xi Bo. It is time for breakfast and check out.”
“Go sleep then. I will be looking forward to the festival tomorrow.” He sits up from the shared dining room table.
He picks his bowl up and eats what was in it with an eye smile.

“Deal.”
“I won’t be able to see the lantern but I do enjoy them. I envision them to be like small suns in the palm of hands.” He says fondly with a nod.
“Let us go. We can have a mooncake. I do enjoy the ones with lotus seed paste”
I already told you I’m OUT for 1000 years before being locked away for 1000 years again. It has been a week.
“Ah yes. Apparently this didi of yours is Wei wuxian. I remember Wei wuxian kindly.” He nods and then once he hears the word festival, he couldn’t help but smile.

“I love festivals. There will be one?”
“I’m not getting locked up for a thousand years when returning. I already served that. I currently am /out/ for a thousand years. When I return I will simply be grounded for probably a month or two. But yes. You can write to me. I can turn it to braille”
Listening to the other made him feel… better. That he at least had some kind of good impact on such a traumatized being.

“It’s nothing grand. I try to be… kind…” he chuckles lightly. It’s a bit corny using his own name when saying that.

His eyes looked sad. Even as a blind man his eyes still hold some sort of emotion.

“I can sense… she was a mother to you. I’m so sorry for your loss, Xi Bo. Genuinely” his voice was gentle and soothing in a way before he picks up more food, holding it out and waiting for Xi Bo to lift up his rice
He expresses though, he was pretty curious.

“Why were you locked up? Are you not one of the seven deadly sins? You are among the seven strongest demons in hell. Unless it is because of your half angelic blood? I can sense your angel grace but it is foggy and tainted by demonic qi”
proposal, satisfied by it.

“I hear that belphegor dies very easily. I wonder how the current one managed to stay alive for so long. I think he is quite impressive.”
He rolls his eyes a bit at the last claim before picking up his chopsticks, prodding and poking at the plates until he perceives it as food and then picks it up, holding it out, waiting for Xi Bo to eat it.

“If you behave then I will consider washing your back in the morning.” He hums at his—
He nods his head as a thank you but instead of drinking the tea, he reaches for the teapot and, picks up a cup and carefully pours Xi Bo tea as well. Silently showing that they are equals.
“No servants. I am locked up every one thousand years for a thousand years. So I live on my own in solidarity”
After their baths and freshening up, dinner came. He used his guide stick to gently tap towards the ground and opens the door to the service worker. He nods his head and thanks them as they bring it in and set up the large dinner table.

He goes towards the door and knocks it.

“Well…. Hmm what was it again…?”

His mind starts spinning a bit trying to remember a certain phrase he learned from Patience who was more colorful with his language. He rubs his chin, rinses his skin and then eureka.

“Ahhh. I remember the saying now.” He clears his throat.

“Sucks to suck.”
“Luckily I have flexible arms and can wash my back quite well”

Rejected once again. Shot down once again.
“What is with you and back washing… is that something demons enjoy?” He mumbles and rolls his eyes as he uses some of the rice water to clean his arms and shoulders.

“Thank you for asking for me. Being a vegan is difficult.”
He was submerged in the tub, gently cleaning his fine and silky long hair, humming in affirmation.

“What did they say?”
silhouette is seen behind it.

“None of the food is cooked in animal products, right, Xi Bo? Did you ask?”
“Then sit outside the door! I don’t trust you!” He marches towards the direction of the bath with his guide stick and taps against one of the foldable frames that he uses to extend and give home privacy behind the tub.

After that, layer by layer his robes are hung over the frame and his slim—
