Finished off the Mercenaries box and the Starter box.

Now have just the two dropships (primed and base coated), and the 9 minis from Third Star League Strike Team and Star League Command Lance (all primed).

While I had the airbrush priming the Battletech Dropships, I also primed up another eight mechs, plus a couple 40K free minis and got a start on the Judgement: Eternal Champions Effigies and Monsters by Creature Caster.

Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs Hero Miniatures.
My daughter painted these up for me. They are so tiny!
Only about 10mm tall! Warhammer 40k Space Marine for scale.
Colors chosen to roughly match the card art for easier identification.

Simple Photo Booth for taking Mini pictures. Cost is one or two pieces of craft foam; so under $5.
One piece of foam good enough for the small minis, bigger minis might require two.

Base is done. Dragon has the base colors done. Now for the washes / blending / highlighting and final details. Should have it finished at this week's session.

After building the loco, I found the unpainted edges too distracting, so I hit them with paint, trying to match the colors.

Epic scale is 1/228 (8mm) so that one is huge in comparison.
Don't get me wrong, both are still way too tiny for me to paint...

Box art shows some charred black at some points where the darkest red is located and looks good on the box, but this also looks good without that black. I 'may' go back to it and put some black in, maybe not.
