Well folks, it's been another week of news, reviews and all-round epic content from us. We're starting this weekly feature so that you guys can find links to all of our major articles that we have posted - ensuring you stay up-to-date, in-the-loop and on-the-ball with all things Xbox. It's time for our weekly feature and poll, where we tell you what we've been up to and you can vote on what games you will be playing over the next couple of days. There have been some great games we have reviewed this week, Octopath Traveler 0 and Marvel Cosmic Invasion being the two biggest titles, but for now let's hear from the team. Today, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment dropped a new character trailer for their up-and-coming action role-playing game title ‘CODE VEIN II‘. In this new trailer, we meet Lyle McLeish, serving as the ace of The Dawn Chorus---an organization fighting to reclaim the Corroded Scar region. His reckless, self-sacrificing combat style unsettles even his closest allies, and he is known for operating independently on every mission. Lyle is an evasion-focused attacker capable of engaging effectively at multiple ranges. He wields “Raikasen,” a skill that delivers a sweeping, lightning-charged strike, and makes strategic use of mid-range Magic Formae.

Ultimate Sheep Raccoon, a bike racing co-op multiplayer game, is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC next week, and it is a Day One Game Pass release. It is a follow-up to the beloved Ultimate Chicken Horse, a family-friendly party game that featured platforming challenges.

Today, publisher Nighthawk Interactive announced that the Collector's Edition of 'TMNT: Splintered Fate' is now available for purchase across all range of console platforms at major retailers across the world. Developed by Super Evil Megacorp and published by Nighthawk Interactive for retail, TMNT: Splintered Fate sends Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael on a dimension-hopping rescue mission after Splinter mysteriously disappears. Designed from the ground up for fast-paced co-op action, the game features dynamic combat, randomized runs, and unlockable upgrades that keep every playthrough fresh. The Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition delivers the full game experience plus a treasure trove of premium items that longtime fans and new players alike won’t want to miss.

Even though we're on that slow march to the end of the year, the games industry just doesn't want to slow down. That includes of course, all those wonderful creators determined to release some more games this year. As such, here's everything coming to Xbox next week, from December 8th through to December 12th. Well now, this is an interesting development. Legendary game developer Tim Cain, one of the creators of the Fallout franchise is back and working in games again. Where? Acquisition season begins once again, or perhaps, it never stopped. Following an extended period of bidding from major entertainment companies, Netflix have emerged the winners and have announced they are moving forward with acquiring Warner Bros - including all the IP ownership and video game development studios. While this is all subject to regulatory approval, both Netflix and Warner Bros have announced the deal, which is worth $82.7 Billion. Per the press release, "Netflix, Inc.

It's the revival you perhaps never knew you wanted. A revival of a long-dormant franchise with a rogue-lite flavour, Carmageddon: Rogue Shift has been announced and it's coming to PC and Consoles in early 2026. Carmageddon: Rogue Shift Announced Developed by 34BigThings, this is the first 'new' Carmageddon game since 2015. Set in the year 2050, the world of Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is a delightfully post-apocalyptic wasteland. Hordes of nightmarish creatures called 'The Wasted' are laying siege to humanity, overrunning the streets at night as the population barricade themselves in large sky-scraper abodes for survival.

This week, during the PC Gaming Showcase, developer Auroch Digital and publisher Dotemu announced 'Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!', a brand-new retro first-person shooter coming to PC via Steam, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 consoles in the early months of 2026. Set 25 years after the events of the original Starship Troopers film, this heroic campaign follows war veteran Samantha Dietz as she recounts her hunt for the dreadful Assassin Bug during the First Bug War. Relive her experiences as you annihilate the Arachnids on their familiar home world of Klendathu and journey to all new worlds like Planet P and beyond in this streamlined solo campaign, with access to a devastating arsenal of 14 weapons (including the iconic Morita rifle), 11 Tactical Supports and a Mech vehicle in a gloriously gory 3D pixelated combat simulation.

This week, developer 1047 Games announced free-to-play first-person arena shooter 'SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded', a reset and "back to form" for the franchise that will launch across PC via Steam/EGS/Xbox PC, Xbox (Play Anywhere supported), and PlayStation consoles on 17 December. The Splitgate 2 that launched and unlaunched back then will now become Arena Reloaded, reimagining everything from core combat to UI, removes factions and abilities, and delivers player-requested options that honor the original Splitgate arena DNA, including an even-starts mode without customizable weapon loadouts. In addition, 1047 also announced an upcoming mini-documentary to be launched on 9 December, which will chronicle the evolution of the portal-based shooter’s next chapter, including the studio’s dedication to the arena genre and its embrace of wide-ranging community input.

This week, during the PC Gaming Show, developer Seed Lab dropped a new trailer for their up-and-coming life simulation title 'Starsand Island', detailing the combat and multiplayer features that will be available in their grande and ambitious project. In addition to the calm, tranquil farming and friendship building showcased to date, Starsand Island will feature third-person combat mechanics when players explore the island’s mystical, ruined area. As players encounter the many strange animals that live among the ruins, they’ll use a range of weapons, including slingshots and bows, to remove a magical corruption from the creatures, enabling them to be domesticated.

It is the latest title from Goichi Suda, a.ka. Suda51, from Grasshopper Manufacture Inc (GhM). The devs had the following to say about the game itself and the move in release date: Snatched from the brink of death by his donning of the rad mask “DeadGear”, FBI Space-Time special agent, Romeo Stargazer, sets out to hunt the most wanted fugitives in existence across the multiverse, armed with a heady arsenal of guns and close-combat weapons.

MIO: Memories in Orbit, a beautiful-looking Metroidvania, is coming to PC and Consoles. It will be available Day One on Xbox Game Pass when it releases next January. The upcoming title Modulus from Belgian indie developers Happy Volcano has just released an updated and expanded demo of the title on Steam. Kwalee and Kwalee Labs have just released a new trailer for the upcoming FPS action-adventure title Luna Abyss.
