Today, UGC developer Look North World and toy slash family entertainment company Mattel Inc. have announced that they've launched a brand-new cooperative ghost hunting game 'Monster High: Paranormal Peril' in Fortnite. Available across all devices that can play Fortnite, up to four players can explore classrooms, corridors, and dorms to solve the mystery behind the wickedly chaotic curse that has been unleashed upon their high school. Twelve beloved characters will be available at launch, including Cleo de Nile, Venus McFlytrap, and Lagoona Blue. Players use Frankie’s fangtastic tools to uncover clues and identify which of the twelve Monster High ghouls is behind the chaos.

Today, publisher KRAFTON announced that maintenance is now over and Update 38.1 is now live for its ongoing battle royale shooter 'PUBG: Battlegrounds' on PC, with consoles getting the update next week, 23 October. Today, publisher SEGA and GPS & map provider Waze announced that they've collaborated to bring everyone's chili dog enthusiast and wise-cracking animal Sonic the Hedgehog as a voiced sidekick to the Waze map application. Xbox revealed their new 'Handheld Compatibility Program' in August ahead of the launch of the ROG Xbox Ally. The program aims to assist users to understand how games have been adjusted to perform better on their new handheld device. After a quiet period of time following the initial announcement, tags have now started appearing on titles in time for the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X release tomorrow. This week, developer Argonaut Games announced the existence of 'Croc Legend of the Gobbos Platinum Edition', a significant update for the Croc remaster on all current platforms. Set to launch on PC via Steam on 13 October for the first time (the Steam version is not live as of this writing) and other platforms on 16 October, this free update to the game came about as the developer was looking to add a Platinum Trophy to Croc: So why the new name? Great question! When we initially launched the Croc Legend of the Gobbos remaster, we didn’t include enough trophies to qualify for the Platinum trophy on PlayStation.

Today, Riot Games dropped several new details for their coming 11.08 patch for their ongoing free-to-play tactical first-person shooter 'VALORANT'. "SEASON 2025 // ACT 6" drops 15 October, and this patch features multiple changes to Agents, weapons and maps. Some key updates include changes to gunplay mastery and weapon balance, nearsighted vision distance, a uniform ‘concussed’ duration, cooldowns for rechargeable abilities and stim effects.
