New OKC stadium plans. The OKC Energy USL Championship franchise is the primary tenant, returning in 2028 (with a U23 team playing in 2027). Exciting!

It looks like the OKC stadium upgrades proposed in the bond election next week will get the new stadium up past the 15K capacity required for USSF Division 1 soccer (MLS or future USL Div 1).

I’m sure it surprises no one that the theme park proposed for Vinita, OK, was probably just a big fraud with some scam artists taking advantage of a senior citizen.
