Strong PERSISTENT significant Negative NAO has developed in NE Canada /Greenland and looks to last into early NOV at least. If the October rule holds then it really implies that the winter is going to be pretty damn impressive. /3

The current La Nina is very weak. All data shows its over MIOD DEC-- meaning JAN FEB MARCH will feature Neutral ENSO. This implies that the October 2025 jet stream patterns might actually be a clue with regard to what the winter is going to look like across the Central eastern CONUS. /2

Back in AUG the Eagles had a practice game and 50,000 showed up at Lincoln field to watch. They kept the ticket prices low and all the proceeds went to charity.

Although I love VA very much Philly is always in my heart. Only the Phillies and the Eagles do stuff like this. Every seat was $10 the concession stands were open and all the proceeds went to charities. Seattle mariners did something like this but only 5000 showed up. /1
