she can do a split, crazy
Hey there, can you help out on this project on the side?

*looks inside*

> using a VM
> S4 system
> no eclipse
> SEGW project(s)
> no clear requirements, just a rough "that is how things are somewhat expected to be"

every. damn. time.
Or ... in terms of ABAP ... *bool*!

which is just as scary, apparently.
Wanted to give it some traction. It's a reasonable q. for which I too would've liked an answer. ^^ So far though, with the colleagues I talked, most of the "solutions" have more of a workaround feel to it than anything else and come with their own drawbacks ~ sad Andre didn't see/replied to it
Yeah, don't get me wrong, it already is a habit of mine. I just didn't have any input-help/recommendation during tagging and the tagged text was ... plain text, no highlighting nothing. So I removed it thinking it wouldn't work (cuz it seemed to not work ...) turns out it works, just a bad editor
Yeah ... I didn't tag him cause I didn't know if it worked. Seems to work, just doesn't show ... I was lucky he saw it :D

Work Zone links shouldn't wipe your context. Today app state mostly covers Bookmark/ Email. We need deep links that keep filters & sorting across pages, tiles, and roles. I opened an SAP Influence Request-help push full app-state sharing. Please vote!

all software is a mess
some messes just look more organised than others
under that facade of a clean room is a closet filled with trash just waiting to burst out
At times enterprise is ... funny.

The amount of bureaucracy needed and people involved in a say ~2 line bug fix exceeds anything I'd consider reasonable. You'd think that it results in better maintainability but people skip steps wherever possible cuz these processes end being so tedious ...
this gif perfectly embodies my emotions today

WHO IS MY ADMIN *ahhhhhhhhhhhh*
I'm usually given work before being asked if I can even do it, both in terms of time as well as knowledge. So there is that. =D

Though it is something different, I can kind of relate, I guess. :D
*for now, when there are only 2 banners, could be even more!
That is roughly 80px of screen space along the horizontal of my entire screen that I'm losing!
please stop creating so many banners *ahhhhhhh*

and if you add them, at least give me the possibility to close them during my session
We've been celebrating it with a good old fashioned LAN party! Done once a year for 25 hours. Though, I only visited for the first ~8-9 hrs or so. 😁
Damn. I know both of them. Beautiful place for a selfie!
Thought so, just making sure :b
Agreed. Funnily that's also how I feel about RAP (not all of it or in general but at times...). 😆

Especially when documentation states "works/supported if implemented correctly" (literally a sentence I read) without showing what correctly means or what incorrect would be.
Is it for GitHub only or is this a classic case of git/GitHub confusion?
Great points! Especially "Excessive View Layer Stacking" is a trap many have fallen into with the CDS VDM stuff (not sure if properly comparable but it is what came to my mind).

Also CTE over Subqueries is something I really agree with. In the end they're the same but CTE is way more readable.
