10 years ago steel making in Redcar stopped.
Now workers for SEAH Wind, on the Teesworks Freeport Zone built on the site, have voted to go on strike over pay & shift allowances. A UK tax payer underwritten project. #r4today

MSD scrapped a £1bn research centre, AstraZeneca and Eli Lilly pulled back, and nearly £2bn in pharma investment has vanished this year alone - is this factored in or is it all spin?

The last time Starmer negotiated a trade deal, it was with the US. Following that, he had to support the UK steel industry, saw the bio-ethanol sector outsourced, and poured millions into the car industry, which later failed to defend itself against a cyber attack...
