At the edge of the outpost or on the way back from a mission, Nazarc will sometimes halt mid-step. Then, with scar-scored fingertips, he gently lifts the small fragments that have resonated in his heart.

a cracked stone that had fallen beside the rubble heap of an old quarry

a frayed cord snagged on the window frame of a ruined house

a chipped button that had rolled across the floor of the outpost’s scrap yard, etc.

Every one of them is nicked, clotted with mud or rust, worn to uselessness and cast aside— the sort of thing that, if a Root-hand on cleaning duty were the one to stoop for it, would go straight into the bin.

To him, though, each is a precious treasure, a shard of his heart. After so long with his voice pared away and his self sealed shut, these are the feelings he has at last managed to hold.

Today again, he takes the treasures he has gathered from a cloth pouch, spreads them across the floor, and arranges them. From time to time he lifts one to the day’s last light pouring through the window, lets a small sound hum deep in his throat to confirm, “I am still here today,” and finds a quiet ease.

Upon returning from a mission, purge the impure miasma into ashes and calm your spirit.

Then take up your brush and inscribe that day's mission onto paper while your memory remains vivid.

Four things must be recorded. This is the form of those who live within the ranks.

But what is truly important is the “insight” added afterward. The wind's shift, the earth's rumble, changes in light or scent...

Each is but a small echo, yet layered together they trace the soundscape of the 〈Flower〉, becoming knowledge that reaches future ears.

If someone's chant ceases during a mission, those remaining bear the duty to record their final moments.

Their death becomes a stone step in the array, a sturdy foothold preventing those who follow from falling into the same depths.

Reports are not prayers, yet piled high, they come to resemble them.

Record today, to sustain tomorrow.

The person with tied-up hair and the person with white hair each enjoy the first dish they try at the food stall in their own way.

『 At the Corner Stall 』

Sitting down on a sun-worn wooden chair, the scent of spices rose from the dish before him and tickled his nose.

On the plate were roughly served potatoes with skin, a stew of beast meat, and a skewer grilled red.

Nazarc awkwardly picked up the skewer, eyed the meat for a moment, then bit into it—

only to stop, his brow tightening.

Perhaps the meat was tougher than he expected, or he simply didn’t know how to eat it

he adjusted his grip on the skewer with his teeth still in the meat.

“Too tough for you?”

Crusheed asked, sliding some potatoes into a flatbread and glancing sideways.

No reply came, though the silence between them was nothing unusual.

“Pull the skewer out as it is.”

After a pause, Nazarc gave a small rumble in his throat,

then tugged the meat free in one motion and chewed with a dead-serious face.

Watching him, Crusheed took a bite of his own bread—

a sharp, burning spice stung his nose, making his brow furrow.

“…That’s… pretty hot.”

From beside him came a faint throat sound again, as if in quiet agreement.

A reference sheet of TheAngorabunnie's mascot / sona - Bunnie.

Bunnie has two forms, one is a fluffy angora rabbit that has white furn with brown spots that are both small and large on it. It has very long ears and an endearing smile on its lips. Here, it is showing off the front and back of itself.

Next to the full rabbit form is Bunnie's humanoid form that still has rabbit traits such as ears and tails of a bun, showing off three of her outfits.
