Great breakdown! TLDR:
- Don't use third party apps to watch Twitch streams
- Don't watch more than 2-3 streams at a time

Both of these things look like viewbotting to Twitch, so your view will count NOWHERE if you do this!

There have been a lot of theories about Twitch viewership and what Twitch is (or isn't) counting as a result of the view bot update.

Tldr on the new twitch lurker stuff talked about recently
1) don't use 3rd party apps to watch streams
2) don't have more than 2-3 streams open at a time (some sources say 2 actual number is unconfirmed)
3) Twitch view count and chatter list is updated separately with view being more regular

This year I want to do a chill vibe new year's Eve stream where I see in the new year in my timezone.
Obviously I want it to be accepting of people who find that time of year tough for various reasons
So it will be a half stream (11pm -1pm GMT)
