This administration is trying to shut down the Department of Education, and it’s simply a bad idea — and Wisconsin children and families are going to pay the price.

This time of year encourages all of us to take stock of what's really important. For Kathy and me, that means giving back to our community.

It was great to join the Goodman Community Center for their annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive again this year.

We're feeling thankful this week for great community minded folks like the Shawano County Democrats who delivered this donation to the Shawano Area Food Pantry and Resource Center recently! Great work everyone!

Republicans are turning their backs on our beautiful public lands. So much for this land is your land, this land is my land, huh?

With recent Republican attacks on programs like SNAP that keep food on the table, programs like Meals on Wheels are more important than ever.

I joined @davidccrowley.bsky.social to serve meals at one of Milwaukee's senior centers, to reaffirm our commitment to keeping our communities fed.

Preventing new moms from accessing a full year of postpartum healthcare is just wrong. Wisconsin remains one of the last two states that have failed to pass this measure, as Republican leadership continues to block it.

Robin Vos is blocking the state assembly from voting on a bill to expand insurance coverage for breast cancer exams, a bill that was passed 32-1 in the senate, because of objections from insurance companies.

Robin Vos does not care about you.

We've made it a goal to plant 100 million trees in Wisconsin by the end of 2030, so it was great to join leaders in Oshkosh this week to plant trees by Lakeshore Park with the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers and employees from Cummins, who donated the trees. 🌳🌲

The Affordable Care Act lets Wisconsinites sleep at night knowing that a health emergency won’t send them into bankruptcy. But that security is on the brink of being stripped away from millions of families. I heard from Wausau families about the worry & pain this will cause them.

The Senate passed the bill nearly unanimously, yet ONE PERSON (Robin Vos) is keeping the door shut in the Assembly. Wisconsin women deserve better.
Vos is blocking breast cancer screening bill, advocates say
The bill would require insurance companies in Wisconsin to cover supplemental diagnostic examinations for women with dense breast tissue.
