I already did first small update (itchio and Steam). The relationship screen GUI was all messed up, like in this screenshot 😂. Probably while switching Ren'Py versions (I started this game over a year ago, and this screen was one of the first things I coded) #indiedev #gamedev

I just woke up and of course first time I did was checking my new game sales.
I am pleased 😁still no reviews, but it's a very long game, and most of my fans got it from KS so probably don't care to leave a review on Steam?

wait I did that, and they rejected it :D
There wasn't any toggle in the version I submitted, it was just censored, with ZERO nudity.
The thing that triggered it "maybe" was some BDSM scenes (still fully dressed).

as said I don't really follow much the scene (no time, I have a life!) but my impression is that all the major recent successes (talking about >25k units sold) 100% were through the use of a publisher.
Nothing wrong with that of course, just wondering !

Following the common consensus I should wait until it's at least 7000, in practice delaying a finished game by 1-2 years (only way I could hope to get to that number in today's market). But nope, 2 days and it's out!

itchio should put some moderation queue or something for newly registered accounts. I get spammers like this infesting my itchio game pages trying to post link to malware. I report/ban an user and a new one comes out.
I'm probably going to remove the forum/comments now...
