So proud of both of you and what ACWW has done for writers of Asian backgrounds.
So proud of Eddy Boudel Tan and Souvankham Thammavongsa, two of the nicest, most talented authors in the Canadian lit scene today. Congrats to you both, you're wonderful role models. Good luck! cbc.ca/books/watch-... #asiancanadian #diversityLIT #gillerprize

We're so blessed to be living on this glorious land: beauty everywhere if we open our eyes & ears.🙏❤️
Yesterday in Vancouver on my afternoon walk. The south side of West Georgia between Chilco and Denman is orange and red. The north side is still green until you get West of Denman. There’s a beautiful patchwork of colour in the city right now 📸🍂

The UN Charter was drafted in 1945 by people who had learned the lessons that the aggression, isolationism and tariff barriers of the 20’s and 30’s had led the world into a conflagration. Article One makes it clear: threats of annexation are illegal. So are unilateral tariffs.

It is a tremendous honour to announce that I am a recipient of a King Charles III’s Coronation Medal.

This would not have been possible without the help, support, patience, + fortitude of family, friends, and colleagues over the years in my many lives.
