We use archaeology and heritage to empower the military family. We give military personnel and their families a chance to do something different, make memories, spend time with their family and build personal resilience.

This year has been a great success with 4 projects seeing over 50 Serving personnel and families involved.

The feedback has been great with 100% responding that their overall experience was excellent and 73% saying they enjoyed it more than they expected!!

Join us in North Shropshire for a non-invasive archeology project. We will be using geophysics and surveys to investigate a historic village, laying the groundwork for future excavations.

Dates: 8-10 August

Cost: Free

Join a community led excavation using test pits to explore Lincoln’s hidden past. This collaborative project will engage multiple institutions and local volunteers!

Dates: 11-13 and 18-20 July

Ages: Available to all but under 18s need accompanying by a parent/ guardian

Join our fully funded 2 week archeology summer school at Bishop Grosseteste University, normally valued at £2000. We will work on a multi period excavation to gain hands-on experience!

Dates: Session 1) 9 to 20 June
Session 2) 23 to 4 June
