I was eagerly buying Newtype each month at this point. It was like a whole new world. I also loved the first Silent Mobius movie (the second one not so much).

Sorry it has been as long as it has, life on the both the personal and the overall has been pretty busy and I think I may have burned myself out a bit there, but I do really enjoy doing this and have no plan on stopping.

I like purple. I'm always using purple in the silly pictures. It's lovely. But is Metty Prime 4 just a little too purple?

Actually did some grown-up stuff today and checked over my pensions. If I can wait it out until the state one kicks in, in another 6 years then we should be not too bad off. Or I could just take out my tax-free 25% and buy loads of Super Famicom games.

Did 'art' at local college then got a job as a graphic artist. Found Japanese anime in the late '80s, helped start a UK anime mag. Did design and illos in it then got asked to do illos for games mags. Worked on games mags then jumped to game dev. In and out of that and illustration ever since.

Really wish I had room to have an old micro or two permanently set up. Having the Speccy, C64, BBC or the Amiga to noodle about with would be nice and yes, I really have reached the age where those days seem like a golden age.

Another anniversary! 20 years of the Xbox360. I've still got my launch team machine with a little Joanna scribble on the faceplate. We won't mention the often tortuous 5 years it took to get to that point, though. Great machine, RRoD not withstanding, and yes, this one is still dead.
