I do love a Susumu Matsushita Famitsu cover. Cracking.
Army of Trolls' stuff always amazes me but this one was off the scale!
Yep, a cassette of the soundtrack. In keeping with the retro theme.
It never gets old. I've been super lucky over the years.
I guess you could call it a complimentary copy for doing the artwork although I wasn't really expecting one.
Well, this was a very nice surprise to get this morning.
At the moment it's still a 'nice to have but not essential' for me. I've only been playing old stuff recently.
I would be nice to have the Konami Re-Birth games to hand.
One of my fave SFC sprites from Super Back To The Future - Part II. I've always thought how epic this could have been if it had gotten the golden-era Konami 16bit treatment with levels set across all three movies.
A pixel sprite of Marty McFly on a hoverboard
from the Super Famicom/Nintendo game Super Back To The Future Part II.
Yep, I can do that now but it wasn't an option back then. Not sure I want to dive into the rabbit hole that is collecting Japanese Wii games, though.
I do. Normally I would just pick up the Jpn version but went PAL only for the Wii.
Don’t think I can ever un-see the Thunderbirds themed dance on Strictly just now. I’m sure Gerry would have been proud.
I'm not all that sold on the cover for today's #randomgamesaturday but the game itself is a banger.
Bought myself the Earthion soundtrack 'cos I'm a sucker for that kind of aural razzmatazz.
Personally, I'd have gone with '[email protected]'. You can never have too much brain.
Isn't Popeye meant to be for the younger hipster while Brutus is for when they've grown up a bit? Fantastic design in both, though.
I only watched this again, recently and still really enjoyed it. Felt like a proper TV 'event' (well, to me, anyway) back in the day.
Still got my issue from all those years ago. What a run.
The idea that anyone would want to sit and listen to me ramble on is hilarious but it'd be good to meet up with other old folks and experience it all.
Full marks to that old-style RT graphic design.
I really should try and get along to one of these at some point. Looks like a fun time.
