This year’s christmas treats are absolutely kicking my ass. I’ve burned more caramel in the last 36 hours than I have in the last 10 years. I feel like I got kitchen-stupid over the summer or something.
Now that all my care packages have been delivered, here's what I put together this year. These are "Almond Crunch Bars", which is a layer of shortbread, a layer of soft caramel, coated in chocolate and topped with chopped almonds. Basically fancy Twix. #Baking #Christmas

I was asked to make Christmas themed versions of the tissue boxes. At least they're cute. People keep messaging me and asking if they can sell them. I have mixed feelings about that. #3Dprinting makerworld.com/en/models/21...

I finished my Christmas trees and they came out pretty good. Plus I leveled up in Fusion360 and Illustrator. 🎉 #3DPrinting

I made this Christmas tree model yesterday, and finally used the lamp kit that came with one of my printers at some point. It’s a little fragile and i want to tweak it before publishing it, but the fusion360 file is an absolute mess. #3Dprinting

We can all feel the difference between the broad category to which Jelly beans belong, and the almost entirely separate one where a chocolate bar belongs. Yet, there is no accepted language to distinguish them cleanly. This is a moral failing.

Hare brained idea to make my new microfiber cloth dispenser design quickly and cheaply skin-able without reprinting the whole main 150g unit worked perfectly. Gives me ideas for v2 of my tissue box design, too. #3Dprinting

I think there should probably be a German word for taking a nap in a cold room where exactly the right amount of your body is exposed to the cold air so that the rest of your body under piles of pillows or blankets or whatever can maximally appreciate the warm coziness.

The answer is no. But also the center of gravity is just too unforgiving so it’s back to the drawing board. #3DPrinting
