While there is a lower class, I am in it, while there is a criminal element, I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.
-Eugene Debs, 1918, upon being convicted of violating the Sedition Act
Kinda funky that no matter how transgressive a man may be, he hesitates to call himself a “feminist.” They will jokingly call themselves commies or woke, but feminism, has been given a different connotation. Is it bc of TERFs? Does identifying as feminist first throw up a red flag?

Research complete: “… Hillary Clinton would be the president if the national tallies counted, and the shift from Mr. Obama’s 51.9 percent… to Mrs. Clinton’s 51.1 percent was the smallest change… since 1888.”
The block matters due to EC chicanery; this is 6-9 million people among 340 million (.2%)

So I am wondering a bit about the phenomenon of “Obama-Trump” voters. Are they significant in size? Are they inflated to meet the narratives about “Reagan democrats?” Will come back with some sources and info later, but feel free to weigh in anecdotally.

I will post the quote if I find it, but in some of my research I came across a work in soc theory that called the electoral system a facade that existed to be “coercive” and to “pacify” the forces that would oppose a purely capitalist system. Its all about deception, power through coercion
over 30 years ago, I warned that America was becoming a two-tiered society composed of a few winners and a larger group left behind, whose anger and disillusionment could be easily manipulated.

I took a lot of heat for this speech. https://youtu.be/Bnd0eSuxu84?feature=shared

In 1994, I took a lot of heat for this speech warning that the American middle class was in danger. That was 29 years ag

There’s been an interesting discourse over HOW we got here, what structural issues are most important, and so far the conclusions are seemingly apolitical:

Abolish the EC
Require everyone to vote
Implement Ranked-Choice
Improve public education
Stop lobbying
Eat the— woops howd that get here

Invitation to vent about your niche least-favorite type of “content.”

Here’s mine: the asshats that ride around on electric bikes with go-pros, swerving around homeless camps, talking OUT LOUD about how certain policies annoy them. The most abrasive way to spend your time IMO

@thehill.com Ok I may be out of line but the mixup of CdawgVA’s tweet about the Immunodeficiency Fund with the Jubilee segment a few days ago was enough to either get someone fired or get someone else hired, and needed a more visible retraction than this

This is a reminder to draw a line now and tell yourself “when this happens, all bets are off, assemble a resistance,” and to tuck that little note somewhere visible. Don’t let them cross that line. And if you’re a white guy with privilege like me, ask for some input first
