Long Island by Colm Tóibin. A worthy sequel to Brooklyn.

An alliance of an independant Scotland, Wales and United Ireland. And ask Norway if they’d like to join too. 💪

Glad to hear they cancelled The Lazarus Project, although sympathy for those out of work as a result. But it really was a dreadful mish-mash. And the fact that season two ended with the two most annoying characters as the sole survivors makes me glad there will be no season 3.

Highly recommend one of these, pre-heated on full temp before slapping the dough on. Pile on toppings as quickly as possible and back into the full blast oven for fifteen minutes. Crispy crust every time.

Still on this. Brilliant. Strange. Highly original.

Just finished Gabriel’s Moon by William Boyd. A bit disappointing, in my humble opinion. Not a patch of his magnificent Any Human Heart.
