Seems to me that it's not actually a generational problem, its a class problem where the wealthy are increasingly tipping the scales in their favour, by raping resources and exploiting labour, without empathy

Wow. Public transit moves everyone, not just "Welfare" people. Your poor ignorant and small minded brother needs to understand that Public transport reduces congestion on the roads, it makes streets safer for everyone and allows people without licenses (children, elderly, disabled) to get around.
