I gotta get off of the internet, take a melatonin, and watch some BL (evergreen tweet.)
I just found a Hallmark movie where Shirley MacLaine is a guardian angel, so that's tomorrow night sorted.

Barely ninety seconds into this Hallmark movie and we've had two product placements, Thai soaps are gonna have to step up their game.

Hallmark+ had my back. They're playing it for the sapphics even, amazing.

I didn't realize until I got down here that there were three holiday markets in a row, more or less on Mercer: the Urban Craft Uprising, the Black Artists Market, & the Giving Marketplace.

I totally agree with this and I'm mad I haven't heard it yet.
I have decided that Last Christmas is actually a great song and there should be a reverse Whammageddon where you win if you hear it first or the most times.

(This isn't sour grapes either, I got through all of December one year without being Whammed, I guess I won?)

Tomorrow is Figgy Pudding, which you should swing through if you're downtown. This is the first time I've seen it held during the day! My favorite group of carolers is the Seattle Labor Chorus because of course it is.

I wasn't going to go to the light rail extension opening tomorrow, but I just found out they're giving away 1 Line beanies, which I'm sorry to say is tempting.

Anyway I watched a bunch of stuff this week and none of it was on Netflix (though Wake Up, Dead Man missed this by one.) Letterboxd last four!
December 5, 2025 at 5:35 PM
So, does this mean I'll have to go to fucking Shoreline for Warner Brothers movies too?
December 5, 2025 at 5:29 PM
Update: they never did & I am seated for Merrily! A small win for today!
I wonder how long it will take my theater to realize they did not ticket Merrily We Roll Along as a special event.

My new favorite tshirt has arrived!
December 4, 2025 at 6:19 PM
A little concerned that the first Torrent game I didn't watch is the first one they win. (Parting Glances was showing tonight! I'm sorry! I'm a film gay first!)

AMC doesn't have anything I want to see this weekend (except for the Hong Kong movie that's playing too late), clearly a sign they want me to stay home and work on my goddamned Yuletide.
December 3, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Instagram, bro, I am never gonna turn on location services, please knock it the fuck off.
December 3, 2025 at 5:05 AM
Okay, I worked from home today as the good lord intended, so we're back to #firstvoyage with Star Trek (2009.) Not sure if we're ready for all this lens flare, but let's go!
December 3, 2025 at 1:23 AM
Really grateful that I have browsing history turned off on YouTube, because I do not need a year end recap to tell me I watched 90% GMMTV trash & 10% Anton Walbrook movies.
December 2, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Wow, so thoughtful of Criterion Channel to add this the day after I watched both Ali: Fear Eats the Soul & All That Heaven Allows!
December 2, 2025 at 2:24 AM
I hope this Bi Gan collection on Criterion Channel means they'll get Resurrection.
December 2, 2025 at 1:33 AM
I have had a strategic hold on The Preacher's Wife for a year, paused until today, and they just put it up on Tubi.

Santa has moved up to the fourth floor of Nordstrom & the merry-go-round is tucked into the gated community of the Seattle Christmas Market... maybe Seattle really *is* dying.
November 30, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Knives Out is totally sold out for today, despite the fact that the theater is in the suburbs and barely accessible, guess folks like leaving Seattle money on the table.
November 30, 2025 at 4:12 PM
Moving this evening's plans to tomorrow because I got on a roll seaming these sock yarn blanket squares & that's not to be wasted. Also I have to go out tomorrow for Pokemon reasons anyway.
November 29, 2025 at 10:45 PM
"Dude, I love your fit." "Thanks man, I was actually looking at your hair." Guys, is Finding Mr Christmas going to fill the Chuang 2021 void in my heart? (No, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna help.)

Listen, streamers, we can either have a secure password, or we can have a password I can key in with a goddamned remote, but we cannot have both.
November 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Fishy for the puck drop! I love this!
