Last year at Tippett Studio, I had the privilege of sitting in on a few dailies while helping out on Alien: Romulus. As a 3D Animator being a part of a stop-mo project, even briefly, was incredibly memorable. I truly enjoyed being a fly on the wall and soaking in the amazing experience!

I say this as a fan of the character Ahsoka but was utterly disappointed with the show. I have not seen all the Clone Wars, only some and I have not seen the other shows mentioned here but I have read the novel by E. K. Johnston.

You should not have to do research to be able to enjoy a movie or TV show. If it is a good story, characters and writing, then it will work, it will be accessible.

And if it is good, what it will do is make the audience want to watch the other shows. It grows the audience, rather than alienate.

Not to take away from the actors, but in addition, I would LOVE to see the process AFTER the raw data is captured, the process it goes through in VFX from layout to final comp. with nice insight into the work done by the motion animators.

As in a Kathryn Hahn Mother Gothel would be in the same vein as Donna Murphy who was incredible to begin with. Where as a Scarlett Johansson Mother Gothel could be completely different.
So when someone asks the question, why remake Disney classics? There is your answer, to make it new and different!

On my side of socials, I hear everyone and their mother calling for Kathryn Hahn. I get it. But at the same time, I would love to see someone that is a more unconventional choice because I think there is a higher risk/reward of creating a unique take on the character.

Rewatching Downton Abbey and I'm on season 4 and I cannot stand how almost every episode the family tears down the staff, believes lies over their actual character. It's fine if it were spread out a bit more but it's just so much.

I liked it, it was an easy read and easily kept my interest. I do wish there had been more fun and humour to it considering the tone of the title.
With most young skewing protagonists I was highly annoyed, she was told upfront what to expect and then ignored causing her own turmoil.

In the end it doesn't matter, but this is going to be SO ANNOYING because the rights to what is available on HULU in the USA is different internationally. With STAR at least you knew if the announced releases were international or only domestic in the USA.

Also the Star logo is super awesome!
