Called the Sicilian Violet it is an heirloom variety of cauliflower that originated on the island

This cauliflower is not dyed 💜

Spatola con Verza …

Spatola fish in English is the silver scabbardfish, a long, ribbon-like fish with a silvery appearance

In this dish the Spatola was rolled and then wrapped in Verza the equivalent of which in the UK is Savoy Cabbage 🥬 it was then baked and topped with grated Carrot 🥕🥕🥕
