babe: i was raised by violent trump supporters, i lived with crooked cop who beat my mother. i know appalachia can harbor evil. i am no fool. i just recognize that scarcity causes pain, and the solution here is not to punish people but to extend a hand. there is no excuse for cruelty.

i was beat by my trump supporting parents, and i still refuse to find them inhuman because i have actual principles about the value of human life. i never said they were right. i said they deserved mercy & respect. scarcity causes violence & the solution will always be: provide.

someone sounds a little peeved it was rightfully pointed out they were using fascist rhetoric to say victims of extreme poverty deserve it. i don't think anyone deserves suffering and i have undoubtedly suffered more at the hands of appalachia than you ever will

i liked your account but this is an opinion worth instantly unfollowing you for. i had family die on blair mountain and they didn't die for so called progressives to fail to understand what appalachia has been punished for, which was waging war for labor rights.
