4 years married to this incredible woman = sushi and whisky ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฃ
I didn't expect that from Sainsbury's. Their CMO is the LGBT+ inclusion advocate on their Operating Board.

Bit cold for ice cream, but I could probably be persuaded to have a @circumstancewhisky.bsky.social gelato from Jack's in Cambridge ๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฆ
Just opened this month's @summertonclub.com bottle, a 20yo Invergordon finished in amarone casks. Such a good cask choice! Well done, Dan ๐Ÿ‘
Autumnal tumbler for an easy-drinking Green Spot.
What's the author's experience of Hong Kong? As someone who grew up there and has family living there currently, I can say it does not offer a solution.
Palate is salty and smoky. Quite funky, but works well for me.
#BlindDrams 5 nose is Frazzles. Then leather, and something fruity underneath.
Seaside as well. Something fishy/salty, in a good way.
Palette is amazing. It's a toffee apple at a bonfire - has anyone tried smoking a toffee apple? #BlindDrams
Nose on #BlindDram 4 hit me with feints to start. There's some good wood smoke once the glass has cleared. Proper bonfire. Some white pepper there too.
Palate is leathery, woody, sweet undertones. Something berry in there.
#BlindDrams 3 nose: Smelt like something I want from Christmas after resting - sweet and smoky. But agitating it gives more funk and dirty peat.
Palate is lovely. Savoury, good smoke levels, great mouthfeel. Bitter, dry. Orange zest. #BlindDrams
#BlindDrams number 2. Good bit of peat on the nose. Not overpowering, just a nice smokiness.
Takes water well. Scores a 3 for me.
First #BlindDrams starts with lots of sweetness and orchard fruit on the nose. Smells peppery too. Something more savoury when you go back to it.
Palate brings something funky. More savoury. Big alcohol kick.
Ready for my first #BlindDrams. It's making the room smell amazing.
I've always liked Lochlea, and this one's delicious. Much smoother and more rounded than the first couple of crops.
Getting painfully close to the end of this one. And just as we're getting to peated season.
I've got A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts - it needs water. Makes a good high ball, actually.
I think I remember her saying the only Nordic whisky she likes is Fishky.
Whiskers and whisky. My cat with a Summerton bottle of Mackmyra from three years ago.
We went in for a set tasting but it was all pretty standard fare that I'd had before, so we grabbed this as an expression I hadn't tried ๐Ÿ˜
4 years since killing a bottle of @bimberdistillery.bsky.social on my stag do at Milroy's. That was a good day ๐Ÿฅƒ
