Slightly apprehensive that I would draw a blank last night. Needn't have worried, 15/12 this morning, including nfm Satellite plus nfy Juniper Carpet (2), Red-line Quaker (2) & Yellow-line Quaker (thanks @stevetortrix.bsky.social for confirmation on the YLQ) VC37 SO96 #teammoth

I have now been able to identify these leafmines on my garden Lombardy Poplar as Gypsomoma oppressana, after reading comments by Ben Smart which note that the narrow mine from the midrib is distinctive of this species and not found in G. dealbana. #teammoth
A decent 21/14 this a.m. after a week away suffering FOMO, which included two Merveille du Jour, my first for five years 👍 Two Green-brindled Crescent & a Red-green Carpet continued the colour theme. Black Rustic (3), Cypress Carpet, White-point & C.quercana best of the rest VC37 SO96 #teammoth
A bit of video of today's Short-eared Owl in East Yorks. #ukbirds
A reasonably close encounter today with a Short-eared Owl on a kill in East Yorks. #ukbirds
I managed three of those in my garden this year 😟
5/5 in and adjacent to the trap this morning. Grey Shoulder-knot was nfy, Willow Beauty a little surprising plus LBAM & C.consimilana & a presumed E.angustea that is somewhere in the conservatory VC37 SO96 #teammoth
Over ten years 🤔 Doesn't seem half of that!!
No camera!? That's a hell of a water-colour sketch 😉
A little bit of green within the 13/10 this morning, was my first Brindled Green. Also Turnip (2), Pale Mottled Willow, Barred Sallow, Epirrita sp., E.angustea VC37 SO96 #teammoth
Nothing as exciting as L-album down here yet, but I can report a modest 3 White-points this year. Pearly Underwing also lacking in my garden...
Late to the party, but Spruce imho.
Catching one is the issue here... 😟
I was thinking The Chestnut rather than Dark.
This morning's trap not much better than yesterday's with 9/6. Quality marginally better, with singles of Cypress Carpet and Barred Sallow VC37 SO96 #teammoth
Brick. And DSG would be a nfg too.
Not bad, there's a lifer in those 4 for me!
I can 'beat' your 10/6 with a very disappointing 8/4!! Too bright & clear I think.
Mind you, a mate had a very impressive 36/14 on a local farm he surveys 😱
I haven't seen anything around my trap in three or four quick checks to 10.15'ish. Mind you, I didn't see anything last week when I had double figures in the morning 🤞
Could become expensive 😂
The rest, including both Hornet-types, are all a bit scarce in north-east Worcs... or just not yet lured! As well as those two, I reckon there is a possibility of Red-tipped, Red-belted & Six-belted with an outside chance of Raspberry as it's been recorded in Warks 🤷
TIP & VES. Had three of the four clearwings suggested on Anglian Lep's web-site - no White-barred, but that doesn't occur where I am... probably?
Also, tried one of them overnight & picked up a Nemapogon ruricolella.
Going to get another couple for next summer, perhaps one for hornet & one other.
