Popped off at some point over night & the tap was turned on. I turned it off, & splish splashed my way out of there.

For the icing on the cake, the same thing happened 18 months ago but it was their hot water heater & the unit owner is still disputing paying for the damages caused to the unit below

Fire brigade turn up, turns out 2 guys were asleep inside the whole time. They can’t figure out where the water is coming from & eventually leave. I turn the main water to the building back on & go into the unit because I can hear the water again. The cold water hose to the washing machine had

Now, I’m hesitant to bother emergency services about anything because they have better shit to be doing. Find the units bathroom window opens. Argue with my husband for a bit about me climbing through the window until he called the fire brigade (I could have saved them the trip).

No answer. Went to the unit below that to check on our 80 year old neighbour. Water was dripping through their concrete ceiling and light fixtures. Called out body corporate management company, it’s 6am so no answer obviously. Call the emergency after hours number, told to call emergency services

Long story long: it was ~6am, my husband & I happened to both be awake early & decided to walk the dog to a nearby cafe. Saw and heard the water absolutely gushing out of the place. I dashed outside & turned the water to the whole building off. Came back inside, banged on their door & windows

The unit below mine flooded today. Noticed when I was taking my dog out in the morning. Long story short, the 2 dudes AirBnB-ing it woke up to their door kicked in by firemen and about an inch of water throughout the whole place.

I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this but if you have venom on your tools in Silksong and try to inject yourself with NotLifeblood™️ it makes it venomous and damages you.
