While it's still fairly difficult to prove a negative...

Releasing the Epstein files would show who isn't in them, by showing who *is* in them. Might not be entirely conclusive, but it *would* be extremely strong circumstantial evidence.

Himes: It was exceedingly hard to watch. Even if you stipulate that it is a war, there is a very specific prohibition against killing individuals who have been removed from the fight. And there is no question that these individuals were removed from the fight.

The coverage about British and American troops committing war crimes with impunity in Afghanistan has been non-existent in the mainstream press unlike the shooting last week.

This is nothing but Islamophobia and the dehumanization of people in predominantly Muslim majority countries.

Are you sure they weren't swimming to the USA with hundreds of kilos of drugs tied to their backs? The asshats in the Trump administration will say and do anything to avoid taking responsibility for their actions.

They are murderers. Plain and simple.

What is it about the video of the second strike that can't be shown to the public when they could show the original strike?

People have lost all common sense. Are we “at WAR” with outboard motorboats just because they say there are drugs on board? Nobody wants to see the evidence? Isn’t that what due process is for? Just how does a person clinging to flaming wreckage in the ocean pose an imminent threat to a drone?

EVERYBODY in DC knows there isn't a gram of narcotics on any of these boats. They are Venezuelan Navy on the lookout for a US amphibious assault. But since Congress hasn't declared war and they were killed in international waters ... that's a big problem.

Many relatives in my fam were under cover cops. The big pic here is that little dealers were in their little boats servicing their local customers. Those boats aren't bound for USA. We need to catch the big daddy where the drugs originate otherwise they just put more guys in a boat.

The rot, corruption and disregard for the laws has now infiltrated the DoD. Hegseth is a boot licking TV couch refugee who was forced out of the military b/c his superiors thought he was a head case. With PsychoPrez's + GOP backing has a green light to exact revenge and inflict serious damage.

Trump said John McCain wasn’t a hero for getting captured by the enemy.

“I like people who weren’t captured”

What makes you think he cares that our service men and women will now be killed instead of captured?

That's the thing. IF they were drug runners, which so far there is no evidence of this, Hegseth is responsible for blowing up any chance at gathering information from them. We'll never know where they were coming from, their intended destination or what was on those boats.

Due process? Do they think it's fine to "bomb first ask questions later"?
No survivors means no confirmation they were running drugs OR fishing!

Venezuela ACTUALLY HAS due process rules, too! They would know this if they ever listened!

Good question. It really boils down to logistics. Easier and safer for military to drop a drone missile than commandeer a vessel with armed insurgents at sea. Since this is a military and not police operation due process does not enter into equation.
