So exhausted after 3 days of driving from Denver to Mississippi to visit my parents (and leave my car with them) before moving to CDMX next week. But so exciting to leave this dumpster fire of a country.

It’s interesting how predictable hell is (the concept) once you connect it to human primal fears. Fire. Darkness. Endless space. Of course a human would invent a hell where those are the conditions. An ant would make a hell out of water or poison (perhaps). Or anteaters instead of demons lol.

I can’t imagine how torturous that must be to be afraid of god 24/7 and constantly wonder if you’re good enough to go to heaven. I’ve never been religious and it just occurred to me most people in the world probably experience this 24/7??

Funny how when I travel to new cities and get on Grindr and find cute guys and click through to their instagrams, I see friends who already follow them. Gay world is a snow globe.

funny, after 4-5 times of going to bars by myself (after years of only going if I was with a group of friends), I now PREFER going by myself. The spontaneous interactions with new people is FAR more fun than standing around with my friends and people perceiving me as unavailable and not approaching

Fun fact, cats’ thermoneutral zone is 86–97°F (30–36°C). Regular indoor temperatures register as uncomfortably cold/freezing to them. Humans trapped desert predators in freezing prisons and mistook their desperation for warmth as affection.

honestly so glad I'm leaving the US. There are awesome people here whom I love, but I bet that's true everywhere, and at least other places have healthcare
